Sage VP Hal Bloom Presents on Harnessing the Power of Market Research Data at the 2013 Market Insight Forum at The Harvard Club in New York

NEW YORK (October 3, 2013) – Sage North America today announced that Hal Bloom, vice president (VP) of market research, is presenting today at the annual Market Insight Forum, being held at The Harvard Club in New York, N.Y. The conference aims to give senior industry professionals access to new ideas, solutions and innovations to help take their departments and companies forward.

During today’s presentation, “Information is the Difference that Makes a Difference,” Bloom will educate attendees on making market research data more powerful by both understanding and knowing how to use it. He will explain how Sage uses surveys and other customer information to create initiatives and translate information into action for its North American product and service brands.

“Market research data enables companies to measure loyalty and focus attention on the ‘right’ customers, improve team efficiency, create customer advocates and create a baseline for measuring change,” said Bloom.

As head of the Sage North America market research team, Bloom provides strategic direction by designing, conducting and analyzing all market research. He has nearly 40 years of domestic and international expertise in all aspects of marketing research, long-range strategic planning, new business development and customer loyalty in Fortune 500 companies, including Coca-Cola, Pillsbury, Tupperware and Grey Advertising. Bloom has also been a consultant for major advertising agencies, service industries and small businesses, and has contributed to such media outlets as CustomerThink, Journal of Advertising Research and KMWorld.

Market Insight Forum keynote and seminar sessions give a high-level view of the industry, offering predictions and insights to help delegates form their future strategies. Interactive workshops and discussion groups complement the conference’s larger sessions by drilling down into specific issues, allowing delegates to share their collective experiences and learn how their peers are dealing with similar situations.
